I am just wondering about the UK special ed system as a lot of info on this site seems to relate to the USA system.
My daughter is 5 and has adhd dx. I had a meeting with the Senco at her school who said she doesn't need to be put on school action or school action plus at present and that the whole system is being reformed soon so there is little point putting her on any sort of plan.
They are however taking her out of the classroom twice per wk for extra support.
Should I be disputing this? What are the implications for them if she is on SA or SA+? Are they trying to shun responsibilities?
